Get to know who we are

We are locals serving locals.

Wellspring Community Center (The Well) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was founded by Kathy Sanchez, Kathy Jones, Jeff Gatlin and Bryan Jones, local residents who want to put their Christian faith into action through service in the community.

Kathy Sanchez

Kathy Sanchez is a retired middle and high school teacher and Administrator. She leads the ESOL and educational programs for The Well. Kathy has traveled in Asia and taught English in private settings and taught ESOL in Jacksonville for two years. She has a heart for service and helping immigrants learn the language and culture of their new home. Goals are to establish a training center in St. Augustine.

Jeff Gatlin

Jeff Gatlin is the Pastor at Freedom Church in St. Augustine. He is also the Community Educator for the Betty Griffin Center and Chaplin for the St. Augustine Beach Police Department. Jeff is the head softball coach at Pedro Menendez High School.

Bryan Jones

We want to impact our community by providing programs and activities in response to local needs.

We are currently in Phase 1 of our center and we are operating out of Freedom Church located at 1740 State Road 207 in St. Augustine.

Please continue to check in as we grow and serve in new ways throughout the Saint Augustine area.
